On May 18, the 71st edition of the international contest for new varieties of roses "Premio Roma 2013” took place at the municipal rose garden of Rome.
The most beautiful varieties of roses from the best breeders in the world participate in the contest. “Premio Roma” represents one of the most important events in the field of rose growing.
The irrigation system of the municipal rose garden of Rome is controlled by an Irritrol Systems Europe single-cable Satellite 48 controller. The controller manages the irrigation system remotely via PC or mobile phone. A rain sensor (to stop the irrigation in the event of rain) and a volume meter for monitoring the water consumption are connected to the controller.
